First outing with the twin strollers (twins included)

Having babies in the winter is pretty neat. Since I was recovering and had two preemies to take care of it was great to live in PJs and snuggle up. But once I started to feel better and wanted to take a walk to get air, that air was so darn cold.

BUT! There's been something of a heat wave in NYC and temperatures have reached 40!

Time to bundle up and go for a walk.

We have two strollers for our twins -- a tandem and a double wide.

The tandem holds the car seats and snaps into a rolling frame, which is perfect for my preemies although I don't think I can navigate any store in NYC with it.

The double wide isn't that wide...if a store is wheelchair accessible (which I hope all are), then this will work. But the babies need to be bigger to fit into that one.

So we went out. Got some vitamin D. The kids slept the whole time.

We met a nanny in the park who used to care for twins who shared some advice -- Don't let anyone babysit your kids without references and never use an agency because they don't screen well.

OK.

We also learned that little kids love twin babies.

Very cute.

Another walk today. Can't wait to pick out new hats for Hunter and Penelope.
